Joining our five Brew Cafes, Antipodea has opened it’s doors!

Located in the gorgeous, lush and leafy Kew village, only a stone’s throw from Kew Station and The Royal Botanical Gardens. It is housed in a remarkable single storey old post office, traditional in its red brick display and accompanying terrace that spills out onto the wide tree-lined avenue. The new 1400 square foot space features an 80-cover dining area, retail sector, stand alone bar, open state of the art kitchen and intimate dining area with it’s own feature fireplace.

Fans of our Brew ‘well-travelled’ all-day food menus will not be disappointed as together with innovative new dishes, our Antipodea menu includes favourite Brew classics as well as a selection of wood fired pizzas, robata grill dishes, Brew coffee, daily bakes and seasonal special features.

Antipodea’s internationally-influenced menu takes inspiration from the group’s Executive Chef James Brown. A classically trained chef, he marries his vast London and Manchester restaurant experience with his partner in food at Brew, Moran Etedegi, who brings an Israeli fusion of flavours, thanks to his training in his native Israel and working alongside Yotam Ottolenghi.

Breakfast and lunch still features all of Brew’s signature dishes such as the ‘Turkish eggs with hung yoghurt and hot chilli butter’ and the ‘Brew Melt’ a devilish combination of ham, oozing gruyere, poached eggs and homemade pesto.

In addition, new creations from James and Moran draw on worldwide flavour combinations, with dishes including Indo-pacific Barramundi enhanced with delicate miso mash and Asian dashi-butter infused vegetables and roaring robata grill dishes such as Whisky and maple cured pork chop and wood fired lobster with home-made bisque.

Alongside the selection of jaw dropping cakes, the dessert menu features mini dessert pots varying from traditional banoffee pie to inspired poached pear and ginger crumble concoctions. Transporting your tastebuds to nostalgic days spent in Melbourne, the dessert menu features a decadent chocolate soufflé topped with Pasha floss.

Our wine list has been expertly handpicked and features a full bodied selection, whilst the cocktail list is on a par, with distinctive additions such as the exotic Hairy Canary – Brew’s yellow Bloody Mary, made with pressed yellow tomato juice from the Isle of White. Exotic freshly made juices and smoothies can be enjoyed on site or for takeaway, as well as their robust and flavoursome Brew Coffees. The temptation is whether to sit and perch by the custom-made bar or choose your takeaway with a side of one of our gorgeous baked cakes.
